Bot · Daily upkeep

Keep panels current and channels clean automatically.

Luminox refreshes information when it changes, removes temporary replies after they have served their purpose and cleans selected channels only under rules chosen by administrators.

In plain English

Current information refreshes; permanent history does not.

A public panel is the latest view of a system, so Luminox edits or safely repositions it when meaningful data changes. A permanent log is historical evidence, so old entries remain fixed.

Temporary responses use different expiry times. Quick confirmations disappear rapidly, readable profiles remain longer and registration codes stay available long enough to complete verification.

Different jobs, different timing

Automation follows the cost and value of the data.

Panel refresh

Current views update after relevant changes, not simply because the bot restarted.

Channel autodelete

Administrators choose channels, intervals and whether old existing messages should also be cleaned.

Private response cleanup

Interaction detail is deleted according to how long a member realistically needs it.

Metadata retention

System records follow the retention rules of each edition while Discord keeps archived conversations.

Configure automation deliberately
